Welcome to FTB, Take 3

Considering this is the third Welcome Letter we’ve penned since July, let’s hurry up and publish this one before there’s a grub infestation of the Beaver Stadium grass, leaving the field unsuitable for play, thus cancelling half the season. 

(Shudders) OK, only positive thoughts from here on.  

Thanks for stumbling upon our site, ForTheBlogy.com, and welcome! Our goal is to provide a New Look at the Nittany Lions by deviating from the typical day-to-day coverage of Penn State football and basketball. So if you want injury updates, game stories, and weekly press conference articles (a barren desert of useful info, but a cornucopia of generic Coach Speak) then we encourage you to patronize and support the dozens of worthy outlets doing such work across the Commonwealth. 

At ForTheBlogy, we’ll be specializing in coverage traditional outlets simply don’t have time or space to tackle (actually, since every writer for this site has their own full-time job, we don’t really have the time to do all this, either…but, whatever). Deep-dive film reviews. Ridiculously-detailed scouting reports of upcoming opponents. Analysis of trends/tendencies complete with fancy algorithms and a whole bunch of other stuff to geek out on when your boss isn’t hovering around your cubicle.  And if we can, we’ll try and make you laugh, too.
